Order Desk can connect to your Descartes Finale account (formerly known ad Finale Inventory) and automatically export orders for inventory tracking purposes.
Setup
To begin, click Manage Integrations from the left sidebar in Order Desk. Under the Productivity tab, find and enable Descartes Finale.
Alternatively, search for Descartes Finale from the available integration search.
Under Connect to Your Descartes Finale Account, enter your Account Name, Username, and Password. Your Account Name is case-sensitive.
Order Desk isn’t able to help find or reset your Descartes Finale credentials, as they can only be provided by Descartes Finale.

Default Mail Class
Choose the shipping class you want Descartes Finale to use for your orders.
If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to the names Descartes Finale uses in the Shipping Class Match section below.
After Import, Move To
Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Descartes Finale.
You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.
After Shipment, Move To
Select the folder you want orders to be moved into when Descartes Finale sends tracking details back.
If Canceled, Move To
Choose the folder you want canceled orders moved to.
Sync Inventory
If you want Order Desk to sync your inventory availability back to Descartes Finale, enable the Sync Inventory setting. To sync your inventory with Descartes Finale, you’ll need to select Import Inventory Items Now in your integration settings. Once the products have downloaded, your inventory items will be ready to sync from Order Desk to Descartes Finale.
If the SKU coming in from your cart differs from your Descartes Finale SKU, you’ll need to set finaleinventory_sku as item metadata.
Auto Complete Orders
Enable this setting to have Order Desk mark all orders as complete when they are successfully imported at Descartes Finale.
Auto Ship Orders
Enable this setting to mark orders as shipped before order completion.
Facility
Select the location where you want orders sent in Descartes Finale.
Automatically Send Imported Orders to Descartes Finale
Select this to automatically send orders to Descartes Finale as they import.
Inventory Items
You can import inventory items from Descartes Finale in one of two ways.
Download Inventory Items
If you need to manually pull your inventory into Order Desk one time, click this button.
Create Scheduled Product Download
If you want Order Desk to pull your products from Descartes Finale every hour, click this option. This is useful if you need new products and stock updates to automatically sync to Order Desk.
If you’ve previously created a scheduled product download and want to turn it off, click Delete Scheduled Product Download.

Shipping Class Match
Using the Shipping Class Match feature, you can match as many different shipping methods as you offer to the methods Descartes Finale uses. This helps make sure your customers get the closest shipping option to what they selected at checkout.

Custom Item Details
The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each item in an order.

| descartesfinale_sku | An optional identifier to properly send orders and sync inventory to Descartes Finale. If your item code is the same as the item code in Descartes Finale, there’s no need to set this. |
Custom Order Details
Descartes Finale also offers an order management option. The following details can be submitted with orders as either checkout data or order metadata.

| FacilityID | Sets the facility ID. If not set, the selected facility in your integration settings will be used as the default. |
| OrderID | Sets an override on the order ID. The value passed here will be set as the Order ID passed to Descartes Finale. |
| OrderSource | Sets the sales channel for the order. You can use this to pass the sales channel info to Descartes Finale. |
| OrderFulfillment | Sets the name of the fulfillment service used for the delivery of the order, if needed. |
| OrderStatus | Sets the preferred order status that should be passed to Descartes Finale. |
