Helloprint Integration

Order Desk can submit your print on demand orders to Helloprint. As orders are fulfilled, the shipment info will automatically be pulled back into Order Desk and sent back to the original shopping cart.

Setup

To connect to Helloprint, click on Manage Integrations in the left sidebar. Under the Print on Demand tab, find and click to enable the Helloprint integration.

Alternatively, search for Helloprint from the available integrations search.

Paste in your Helloprint API key, then click to connect:

Please note that Order Desk isn’t able to help find or reset your credentials, as they can only be provided by Helloprint.

Integration Settings

Once connected, you will have a few settings where you can set your preferences for this integration.

Mode

The mode of your integration connection.

Default Mail Class

Select the default mail class you want Helloprint to use. The shipping method you select will be used for all orders where the method on the order does not match any of Helloprint's shipping method names.

If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to Helloprint's names in the Shipping Class Match section below.

After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are sent to Helloprint.

If you want to use a custom folder, create your own from Store Settings. See the Working with Folders guide for more information.

After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into when Helloprint sends shipment details back into Order Desk.

Helloprint has said that it takes 24-48 hours for tracking to appear in their dashboard.

If Canceled, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into if they are canceled at Helloprint.

Shipping Class Match

The shipping methods that you have set up in your shopping cart(s) may not match the methods that Helloprint uses. To make sure your shipping preferences are sent through to Helloprint with each order, match your methods to theirs in the shipping class match feature. If matches aren't made, Helloprint will use your default preferences set above.

Sending Orders to Helloprint

Preparing Your Items

The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each order item.

Field Name Field Description
print_url Link to your artwork file so Helloprint can print it.
print_sku Helloprint's product code/SKU for the item.
