Print Clever Integration
IN THIS GUIDE
Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), sync in your print details and then automatically send them on to Print Clever for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk automatically.
This guide will go over the Print Clever integration settings and features. For thorough details on how to work with your print on demand orders in Order Desk, please read through the Print on Demand Fulfillment guide.
To connect to Print Clever, click on the Manage Integrations link in the left sidebar. Under the Print on Demand tab find and enable Print Clever.
Alternatively, search for Print Clever from the available integration search.
Enter your Client ID from Print Clever and click to connect.
Please note that Order Desk isn’t able to help find or reset your credentials, as they can only be provided by Print Clever.
Once you have successfully connected to the Print Clever integration, set your folder preferences
Default Mail Class
Select the default mail class you want Print Clever to use. The shipping method you select will be used for all orders where the method on the order does not match any of Print Clever's shipping method names.
If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to Print Clever's names in the Shipping Class Match section below.
After Import, Move To
Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Print Clever.
You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.
After Shipment, Move To
Select the folder you want orders to be moved into when Print Clever sends tracking details back.
The Flyer URL and Sticker URL fields are used to set your default links for marketing inserts, which will be printed and sent to your customers with each package. These can be overridden at the order level, otherwise the defaults you add here will be used if we don’t find a specific value within the order.

Shipping Class Match
If the shipping methods you set up in your shopping cart(s) don't match the shipping method names Print Clever uses, they won't know what methods you intend for them to use. When this happens, the default mail class applied above will be used instead for all of your orders.
To tell Print Clever what methods you want them to use, you will need to match your method names to theirs. This can be done in the shipping class match section. For detailed instructions on setting this up, please read through the shipping class match guide.
Sending Orders to Print Clever

Preparing Your Orders
The following details can be submitted for an order as either checkout data or order metadata.

|Flyer||URL for the marketing insert to be printed and shipped with the order.|
|Sticker||URL for the sticker to be printed and shipped with the order.|

Preparing Your Items
The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each order item.

|print_sku||Required. This must match the inventory item used by Print Clever.|
|print_url_1||Required. Link to your artwork file.|
|print_url_2||Optional. Link to a second artwork file to be printed on the same item.|
|print_preview||Link to preview of artwork. image is also accepted.|
|size||Size of the product.|
|color||Set the color used for the item being printed. colour is also accepted.|
