SKYOU Integration

Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), sync in your print details and then automatically send them on to  SKYOU for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk automatically.

Sending Orders to SKYOU


To connect to SKYOU, click on the Manage Integrations link under the Integrations menu in the left sidebar, and under the Print on Demand tab find and enable SKYOU.

Alternatively, search for SKYOU from the available integration search.

Enter your Secret and Access Token then select Production (live) or Staging (test) for the environment and click to connect.

To find your SKYOU credentials, please contact your rep from SKYOU. Order Desk support is not able to help with finding or resetting your SKYOU credentials, as they are created and provided by SKYOU.

Integration Settings

Once connected, you'll have some shipment and integration settings to adjust per your preferences.

Order Mode

Select the environment the store is in, Production for live orders and Staging for test orders.

After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to SKYOU.

You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.

After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after SKYOU sends shipment details back to Order Desk.

Notification URL

This URL allows SKYOU to send tracking details back to Order Desk as they ship your orders. Please copy this URL and give it to SKYOU to apply to your account.

Sending Orders to SKYOU

Getting your orders ready to send to SKYOU will take some set up time. For a detailed walkthrough of how to use Order Desk with your Print on Demand orders, please read through our Print on Demand Fulfillment guide.

Preparing Your Orders

The following fields can be set as checkout data or order metadata to change what gets sent to SKYOU:

PackingSlip URL for the PDF to be included as the packing slip with the order. Details  here.

Preparing Your Items

For every product you plan to sell, you will need to set up a basic product on the SKYOU website and note the Product ID. This Product ID is what will be used to look up the size-based variants and request the proper apparel size.

The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each item in an order:

Field Name Value
print_sku The SKYOU Product ID.
print_variant_id If you have the direct Variant ID, enter it here. The print_sku will still need to be included for the order to properly submit, but in this event, it can be set to X or something simple.
print_url_1 or print_url URL of the artwork file.
print_preview_1 or print_preview or image URL of the artwork preview. 
background_color Hex value for the background color on the shirt. Should have a preceding #.
thread_color Hex value for the thread color on the shirt. Should have a preceding #.
