Overview

Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), apply custom information and then submit them to Bang Printing for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk and back to your shopping cart(s) if your store is set up for it.

This guide explains how to set up and use the Bang Printing integration.

Setup

To connect to Bang Printing, click on the Manage Integrations link in the left sidebar and under the Fulfillment tab find and enable the Bang Printing integration.

Alternatively, search for Bang Printing from the available integrations search:

Enter your Bang Printing credentials and click to connect.

Integration Settings

After you have connected the integration, you can apply any necessary details or preferences to the settings.

Environment

Select the environment your store is in, Live or Test.

Default Mail Class

Choose the mail class you want Bang Printing to use for your orders.

After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Bang Printing.

You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.

After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into as Bang Printing sends shipment details back to Order Desk.

Send Customer Email Address to Bang Printing

Select if you want the email address sent to Bang Printing with each order.

Automatically Send Imported Orders to Bang Printing

If you plan to automatically submit every order to Bang Printing for fulfillment, you can enable this setting. All orders will be sent as they come in to Order Desk.

If you have any other fulfillment services or will have any orders you don't want to send to Bang Printing, keep this disabled. Use rules to submit orders to the appropriate vendor or fulfillment service instead.

Default Return Address

Set the default return address that Bang Printing should use on your shipments.

If you need to customize the return address for certain orders, you can save different return addresses to your Store Settings and then use a rule to set the return address to specific orders. If a return address is not added to the order, the default address set here in the Bang Printing settings will be used.

Product Settings

Product Code Match and Skip

For more information on how Product Code Match and Product Code Skip work, please read the Product Code guide.

Inventory Location Match

If you only want to send certain items to Bang Printing, you can set the inventory location name from the item in this field. Orders with items that don't have an exact match will not be submitted to Bang Printing.

To avoid confusion about which items in which orders are being sent for fulfillment, it is generally better to split orders than to use this field. If you do choose to use this field, please be careful that your inventory location names match exactly.

Custom Order Details

You can add custom details to your orders to be passed through to Bang Printing. Add these details as checkout data or metadata fields. The field names must be an exact match to this table.
