Sending Orders to Air Waves


Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), sync in your print details and then automatically send them to Air Waves for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk and back to your shopping cart.

This guide explains how to set up and use the Air Waves integration.


To enable the integration, click on Manage Integrations in the left sidebar. Under the Print on Demand tab, find and enable the Air Waves integration. 

Alternatively, search for Air Waves from the available integration search.

Enter your Air Waves credentials and click to connect.

Please note that Order Desk isn’t able to help find or reset your credentials, as they can only be provided by Air Waves.

Integration Settings

Once connected, you'll have some shipment and integration settings to adjust per your preferences.

After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Air Waves.

You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.

After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into as Air Waves sends shipment details back.

Shipment Webhook URL

Give this webhook URL to your Air Waves sales rep. This URL is necessary for Air Waves to be able to send shipment notifications back into your orders in Order Desk.

Default Return Address

Set your default return address for Air Waves to use on your order shipments.

If you need to customize the return address for certain orders, you can save different return addresses to your Store Settings and use a rule to set the return address on specific orders. If a return address is not added to the order, the default address set here in the Air Waves settings will be used.

Sending Orders to Air Waves

Getting your orders ready to send to Air Waves will take some set up time. For a detailed walkthrough of how to use Order Desk with your Print on Demand orders, please read through our Print on Demand Fulfillment guide.

Preparing Your Items

The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each order item.

Replace the "x" with a value specified in the table, i.e. print_url_1 or print_url_2.

Field Name Value
Use the garment code provided to you by Air Waves as the print_sku value.
print_url_x Values 1-5 are accepted. If you are only sending one printable artwork file to Air Waves, you can use print_url or print_url_1.
Values 1-5 are accepted. Add the value that relates to your artwork placement. Default is 1 for Front.
print_preview_x Values 1-5 are accepted. This is a required field.
