Order Desk can import your print on demand orders from podOS, process them, and send them for fulfillment based on the settings you choose. As orders are fulfilled, tracking details will be sent back to podOS and the orders will be marked as complete.

Setup

In Order Desk, click Manage Integrations under the Integrations menu in the left sidebar. Under the Shopping Carts tab, find and enable the podOS import integration:

Alternatively, search for podOS from the available integration search, then click Enable for the import integration.

On the next screen, enter your Project Name and API Token, then click Connect:

Please note that Order Desk can’t help find or reset your credentials, as these can only be provided by the podOS team.

Integration Settings

Once connected, you’ll have a few settings where you can set your preferences for this integration.

Check for New Orders

Select how often you want Order Desk to download orders from podOS.

When Order Desk imports orders from podOS, the following key details will be saved on each order item as item metadata:

  • print_url_x: The publicly accessible link to the artwork that should be printed on each item. For multi-print items, the value of x will increase for each print job, for example, print_url_1 and print_url_2.
  • print_location_x: The position where the print file should be placed on the item. The value of x corresponds to each print_url_x field.

Folder for New Orders

Select the folder where newly imported orders from podOS should be placed.

For more information about folders, see the Working with Folders guide.

Order Status Filter

Select the status of the orders to be imported from podOS. You can select multiple statuses, if needed.

Sync Tracking Numbers

If the Sync Tracking Numbers setting is enabled, Order Desk will automatically send shipment information back to podOS and update the orders there.

Order Prefix

If you would like to add an order prefix to your podOS orders as they import into Order Desk, add that value here.

Country Filter

Select countries from the dropdown menu, or choose Select All.

Choose Standard for Order Desk to only import orders from the selected countries. Choose Inverted to import all orders except from the selected countries.

First Import Date

Set the date from which you would like orders to begin importing from podOS.

Manual Imports

Import Orders

Order Desk can download orders from the date you set here. You may need to click the Check button a few times if you have a large volume of orders to import from the selected date.
