Sending Orders to Hive
Integration Setup
To enable the integration, click on the Manage Integrations link in the Integrations menu in the left sidebar. Under the Fulfillment tab, find and enable Hive.
Alternatively, search for Hive from the available integration search.
On the integration page, choose between a production and staging environment, then add your Hive access token to connect.
Please note that Order Desk isn’t able to help find or reset your credentials, as they can only be provided by Hive.
Settings
After Import, Move To
Select the folder orders should be moved to after they are sent to Hive from Order Desk. Typically this is set to Prepared, but any custom folder can be used.
After Shipment, Move To
Select the folder orders should be moved to when Hive sends tracking details back to Order Desk. Typically this is set to Closed, but any custom folder can be used.
Automatically Send Imported Orders to Hive Technologies
If you plan to automatically submit every order to Hive for fulfillment, you can enable this setting. All orders will be sent as they come in to Order Desk.
If you have any other fulfillment services or will have any orders you don't want to send to Hive, keep this disabled. Use rules to submit orders to the appropriate vendor or fulfillment service instead.
If Canceled, Move To
Select the folder orders should be moved to when they are cancelled through Hive.
Webhook URL
This is the URL that should be provided to your account manager at Hive as part of the connection process with Order Desk.
Inventory Syncing
Your Hive Technologies inventory counts can be imported using these integration settings.
Sync Inventory
Enable to download inventory stock counts from Hive Technologies.
Target Warehouse
Select which warehouses to target for inventory syncing.
Sync Update Interval
The interval at which you'd like your inventory counts to sync back to Order Desk. Options are: Every 15 Minutes, Every Hour, Every Two Hours, Every Four Hours, Every Six Hours, Every Eight Hours, Every Twelve Hours, and Every Day.
Inventory Location Name
Use this field to set a default inventory location on all synced inventory items.
Update Catalog
Use to request that Order Desk update the inventory catalog in Hive using the items created by Order Desk (in the case that an inventory item doesn't exist). If the inventory item does exist, Order Desk will update it.
The information passed to Hive will match the item fields present in Order Desk. If no data is present for a given item field it will not have a value in Hive when the catalog is updated.
To delete items using this tool, set hivetechnologies_delete as item metadata with a value of 1 on your inventory item to flag it for deletion.
Product Settings
For more information on what these product settings in the Hive integration are for and how to use them, read the Fulfillment Integration Product Settings guide.
Sending Orders to Hive
If a product does not exist at the time of order submission, Order Desk can create a product prior to sending the order to Hive.
