Overview

Order Desk is not intended to be used on mobile devices, as it was built with desktop browsers in mind. However, it is possible to use a limited range of features via mobile browser on most newer Android and iOS devices. For best results we recommend using the most recent version of either Chrome or Safari.

What features are supported on mobile?

Many of our features can be difficult or impractical to work with on a mobile device due to the limitations of mobile browsers, which is why we generally advise against using Order Desk on mobile.

Should you need to check your orders on the go and you don't have access to a desktop computer, you can log into Order Desk on your mobile device and perform a limited amount of actions if need be.

Order Desk is built with a responsive design that adapts to the size and scale of a browser, so when viewed on a mobile device you'll see a layout that's different, but familiar. Both the sidebar and the search field become collapsable menus, complete with all the same options you would see on desktop.

You'll also have access to many of the same features when viewing a folder, allowing you to select orders to move them, tag them, and so on.

The orders themselves will display all of the order details, including the item metadata, customer information, and order history. You can even edit item details, update customer info, and add internal order notes.

This basic experience should give you a good idea of what the rest of Order Desk would be like on mobile. You wouldn't want to perform any advanced actions like building templates or importing/exporting files, but simple tasks involving orders or account management can still be done when you don't have immediate access to a computer.
