If you’re reading this, you’re probably in your most profitable season, but the last few weeks of the year can still be especially stressful for a business. But don’t worry, we’re here to help you get through it, and we’ll keep this month’s newsletter nice and short for you. Sorry if you were hoping to take a long break to read it!

Also, be sure to read to the end to catch our new “Spotlight On…” segment, where we’ll cover the different ways filters can be used to customize rules in the Rule Builder!

### Integration Features & Updates

### Shopping Carts

Additional Vendor options are available in CommerceHub for **BJ’s**, **Best Buy,** and **QVC**. Use **Inventory Whitelist Required** if you’d like to filter which of these vendors should have inventory synced from your Order Desk store. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/600-commercehub-integration#download).

### Print on Demand

Additional **item level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata for:

* Pic the Gift: Six **print\_urls** are now accepted when formatted as **print\_url\_x**. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/402-pic-the-gift#submit).
* District Photo: Use **page\_quantity** to specify how many pages are in your print file for books. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/347-district-photo#send).
* Miami Sublimation: Use **backend\_url** as an item reference that links to the item within the backend. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/652-miami-sublimation-integration#custom-details-for-miami-sublimation).
* Sensaria: Circle Graphics has a new name! Your existing settings, connections, and appointments remain unchanged.

### Fulfillment

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata for:

* Complemar: Use **PackingSlip** to include the URL for the PDF to be included as the packing slip with the order. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/443-complemar-integration#custom).

### Shipping

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata for:

* ShipHero: Use **ShopName** to specify the shop name you want your orders to have in ShipHero. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/583-shiphero-order-export-integration#order-level-details).

### Spotlight on…Rule Filters

When you’re looking to add more automation to your store, the [Rule Builder](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/396-how-to-work-with-rules) can be used to tell Order Desk how you’d like us to take action on certain orders or order items.

If you want a rule to only run on *specific* orders or order items, you would use filters to tell Order Desk what to look for. For instance, if you want your rule to only run on orders that contain items with the Item Name “Red Shirt” you would create a filter that looks like this:

**Item Name > Equals > Red Shirt**

Another example would be if want to make sure your rule only works on orders that are being shipped to one of a specific group of countries, you would use this filter:

**Shipping Country > In List > US,AT,HK**

Multiple filters can also be used in one rule, and are linked using either *AND* or *OR*, which might look like this:

**Item Name > Equals > Red Shirt**

*AND*

**Shipping Country > In List > US,AT,HK**

Those filters would work together and your rule would run on any order where the Item Name is “Red Shirt” and the Shipping Country is either in the US, AT, or HK.

Check out [this guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/551-rules-reference#filters) for more info on how you can use filters in your rules.

We wish you a safe, successful, and joyful end of the year. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us by responding to this email or contact <support@orderdesk.com>.

See you in 2022!

## November 2021

Can you believe we are only a couple of months away from the end of the year? While we are technically in the home stretch of 2021, some of the busiest shopping days of the year are still ahead. That’s right, this is your time to shine! The Order Desk team and I will make sure that everything is running smoothly for your business through the busiest ecommerce days of the year so you can focus on the fun part of the season. 😉

If you’re new to the Q4 rush or could use a refresher on running an ecommerce business through the holiday season, we put a post together with some suggestions for you! You can read it [here](https://www.orderdesk.com/commerce-news/tips-for-surviving-black-friday-and-beyond/).

And do you want to see if there are any new features that could help you navigate Q4? Keep reading to see what’s going on at Order Desk!

### Integration Features & Updates

### Shopping Carts

Additional **item inventory status** metadata fields have been added for:

* Printify Supplier: Use **status** with a value of *discontinued* or *out-of-stock*. The fields **discontinued\_since** and **restock\_estimate** can also be used with corresponding dates. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/622-printify-supplier-integration#custom).

We’ve seen Shopify throwing an error enough times for it to stick out to us, so if you’re experiencing the “Shopify Fulfillment Not Added Because of this Error: must be stocked at the same location” error, we wrote a blog post about how to fix it. Read it [here](https://www.orderdesk.com/commerce-news/shopify-stock-error/).

### Print on Demand

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata for:

* VeraCore: Use the **order\_entry\_view** field to assign a specific view for the order in VeraCore’s OMS. If not specified, the default view will be used. Use **ReleaseDate** to specify a ship date for the order. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/12-veracore#order-level).
* HP Site Flow: Use **ShippingLabel** to add your own shipping label to the order. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/217-hp-site-flow-integration#custom-details).

### Productivity

We’ve rebuilt our Slack integration from the ground up to support the latest features that they offer. Beginning today, you’ll be able to use the Rule Builder to create alerts in your Slack workspace, either to specific channels or in direct messages. This is especially helpful if you use Order Desk to alert you when an order is late being fulfilled, or if an order requires extra attention. [Details Here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/780-slack-integration).

Please note: if you already have the Slack integration installed in your store, you will need to reconnect to your Slack workspace. Please respond to this email if you need help doing that!

### New Integrations

**Fulfillment:** [Infoplus](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/715-infoplus-integration)

### Spotlight on…Shipping Class Match

Since shipping method names on orders don’t always match the shipping methods used by fulfillment services, some of our fulfillment integrations allow you to tell them what shipping method and carrier they should use for each of your orders with **Shipping Class Match**. These matches can be set from within the integration settings themselves. If you don’t see this feature in your preferred fulfillment integration and you’d like to see if it’s possible for us to add, please respond to this email and let us know.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll find in the Shipping Class Match feature:

**Default Shipping Class:** This is the shipping class that will be used if there are no shipping class matches set up or no match is present.

![](https://embed.filekitcdn.com/e/dDYhGhYfNV9GZjqkyJS3sj/sAXUdzSCuegvKDxkbWMszt?w=800\&fit=max)

**Shopping Cart Name:** The method name that is coming in on the order *from* the shopping cart.

![](https://embed.filekitcdn.com/e/dDYhGhYfNV9GZjqkyJS3sj/71tzgu8NNmuRrvraZ1vXQ2?w=800\&fit=max)

Select Carrier Class: The dropdown that shows all available shipping methods that the fulfillment service uses. Choose the method you want the fulfillment service to use for the method you have set up in your shopping cart.

Go over Shipping Class Match in more detail [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/235-shipping-class-match).

What special deals will you be rolling out for Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Are there any new products you’ll be adding to your store especially for the season? We’d love to hear about them. Who knows, you may even have to make some changes in your Order Desk store to accommodate the additions. It’s better to do that now than add them as orders are coming in! If you aren’t sure, feel free to respond to this email directly or reach out to <support@orderdesk.com> any time.

See you next month,

*Patricia and The Order Desk Team*

## October 2021

Is it October already? Don’t be worried if you feel a spooky chill in the air. It’s not a ghost or a ghoul, it’s the creeping fingers of Q4!

Did you know Order Desk sees a 20% increase in support tickets throughout the fourth quarter busy season? In anticipation of the inevitable increase in wait times for help, we want to remind you to make sure to prepare for any issues you may be having in your store as soon as possible. We’ll be here to guide you!

With that in mind, we’ve created a brand new [Print on Demand Video Series](https://www.orderdesk.com/announcements/new-from-order-desk-print-on-demand-videos/), which covers the entire process of setting up a print on demand store in Order Desk, step by step, from start to finish.

We’re also trying out a new newsletter section called **“Spotlight on…”** which you can find toward the bottom of this email. Each month, we’ll highlight a different topic or feature in Order Desk. You may even learn a thing or two!

Keep reading for more updates. 🙂

### Integration Features & Updates

Additional **features** have been added for:

* Jondo Global:
  * When a shipping address is updated in Order Desk, we’ll automatically try to update it at Jondo. The order history will confirm if the new address has been sent successfully.

This setting will run by default unless disabled from within the Dropbox Integration Settings. [Details Here.](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/380-dropbox#settings)

### Spotlight on…Inventory for Print on Demand Stores!

Order Desk can store all your products and any additional details that may be necessary to help automate your workflow or that need to be sent to your fulfillment providers.

Adding inventory is a necessary step for Print on Demand stores, since print details stored as metadata or variations in your Order Desk inventory will be synced to the items in your orders before they are sent for fulfillment. These details often include:

* **SKU/Item Code**: A unique product code for the item, which should match the SKU used in your shopping carts. Order Desk will match this SKU to the SKUs in your orders and use that to sync the print details.
* **print\_sku:** The printer’s code/SKU for the item on which your images will be printed.
* **print\_url:** A link that printers can use to access your artwork file. Note: this link must be public, as their automated systems often don’t include a way to enter a password for a private file.

You can find more details on how to add your inventory to Order Desk [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/15-print-on-demand-fulfillment#add).

With all my talk of ghouls and goblins, what issues are haunting your store? We’d love to see things running smoothly for you before the end of the year brings delays in support! Our inbox is open at <support@orderdesk.com> (or you can always respond to this email) for even your scariest problems. Let’s find a solution together 🎃

## July 2021

Can you believe that we are already halfway through 2021? Here at Order Desk it doesn’t matter what month it is, we are always looking for ways to improve the app.

Our European customers may already know that as of July 1st, the European Union (EU) made some changes to how they manage Value Added Tax (VAT) on goods being shipped into the EU. To accommodate this change, we have added **a new field in the Store Settings where you can enter your default IOSS number**.

We are working diligently with our partners to assure compliance with these new regulations, and if you need support for IOSS in an integration that doesn’t yet support dynamic IOSS numbers, please contact our support team so we can see if there’s any options we can support.

Curious about what else is going on here at Order Desk? Keep reading to find out!

This works together with the **Keep Inventory Synced with Other Store** setting (details in [this guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/636-how-to-sync-inventory-between-order-desk-stores#enable)) if you are passing inventory between your Order Desk stores as updates are made, but it also works if you simply want to do a one time inventory push from one store to another.

### Integration Features & Updates

#### Productivity

The Dropbox integration has a new setting that allows you to automatically increment item metadata fields so you don’t have to keep updating the field name with \_2, \_3 and so on when adding multiple files to a single item. Details [in the guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/380-dropbox#auto-increment-field-ids).

#### Shopping Carts

Our Walmart Marketplace integration supports Mexico. DSV is still US only. Instructions can be found in the [Walmart guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/182-walmart-integration).

If you need to set the warehouse address for Wayfair cross-border shipments, see how [in this guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/378-wayfair-integration#warehouse-address).

There’s a limit of 40,000 SKUs that can be synced to Amazon Marketplace, and any submissions with more than this number of items will fail. If you have more than that and still want to sync your inventory to Amazon, you can set **amazon\_skip=1** as item metadata on items that can be removed from the sync to get your number of SKUs below 40,000. For more information on how to set this up, see the [Amazon Marketplace guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/50-amazon-marketplace-integration#sync-inventory).

#### Fulfillment

If you want your discounts to be deducted from the product total that is sent to Cubyn with your orders, you can select the **Include Discount In Total At Cubyn** setting, so the processor balance (or actual total paid value) will be sent instead. Details in the [Cubyn guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/676-cubyn-integration#include-discount-in-total-at-cubyn).

#### Print on Demand

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata were included for:

* Monster Digital: **ExtraQualityCare** lets you tell Monster Digital to be extra careful with the print quality on products. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/639-monster-digital-integration#preparing-your-orders).
* Bay Photo: Use **GiftMessageImage** to set a link to an image file with the gift message on it, and Bay Photo will print it out to include with the order. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/285-bay-photo#order-level-details).
* Turbine: Set **PackingSlip** to send a printable PDF file to Turbine to be included with the shipment. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/688-turbine-integration#custom-order-details).
* Dream Junction: Set **PackingSlip** to send a printable PDF file to Dream Junction to be included with the shipment. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/252-dream-junction-integration#custom-order-details).

#### Shipping

EasyPost made a few customs updates for merchants and providers dealing with new Brexit requirements. If this impacts you, you can read more about the required fields you can add to the EasyPost settings [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/74-easypost#custom).

### New Integrations

Print on Demand: [Hoplix](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/747-hoplix-integration), [SPOD](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/554-spod-integration), [ThreadStudio](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/749-threadstudio-integration)

We hope that our updates to Order Desk are more exciting than the updates George Lucas made to Star Wars after it was released on DVD.

See you next month! *The Order Desk Team*

## April 2021

It’s been another productive month at Order Desk, though you may have noticed that our last few newsletters have been a little shorter than usual.

There’s a good reason for that; we’re in the midst of a hiring push, and while our developers are still hard at work on the app, our operations team—the folks who usually put the newsletter together for you every month—has been working around the clock looking for our next few team members.

You’ll be seeing some new faces around here in a few weeks, and the newsletter will be more thorough again, too!

### New Features & Updates

For the shopping cart integrations that have an **Inventory Location Filter**, you can now set multiple locations separated by a comma.

The Rule Builder has two new actions:

* **Set Processor Balance** allows you to add or change the processor balance in the order details.
* **Add Order History** can be used if you would like to add your own custom comment or information to the order’s history when a specific event happens.

Twig can be used to set the data for both rule actions.

#### Shopping Carts

The Shopify integration has a setting called **Item Name Style** which lets you tell Order Desk if you want your Shopify products in your orders to show the variant information in the title or not. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/7-shopify-integration#item-name-style).

#### Print on Demand

Printed Mint has a new API that is still in beta. They are currently only adding new customers to their new API, while current customers are continuing to use the existing API. This update is entirely behind the scenes and will not change your options or experience with using the Printed Mint integration in Order Desk. To help support both APIs, we have added [a setting to the Printed Mint integration](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/260-printed-mint-integration#settings) called **Use Printed Mint API version 2.0**. Do not enable this setting until Printed Mint instructs you to do so.

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata were included for:

* Spoke Custom: **print\_description**, anything set in this field will be sent to the CaseDescription field at Spoke Custom. If nothing is set, the product name will be sent instead. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/407-spoke-custom-integration#order-details).
* HP Site Flow: **ShipmentCarrierCode**, set the carrier code for the shipping carrier that your printer will be using for the order. When the shipment details are sent back to Order Desk from HP Site Flow, this carrier code will be used to create the tracking URL for the shipment. This helps reduce any confusion where the **ShippingAlias** being used on your account may not have an obvious carrier code associated with it. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/217-hp-site-flow-integration#preparing-your-orders).

Additional **item level options** that can be set as variations or item metadata were included for:

* BDLinx: **Value Added Service (VAS)** fields can now be included with your items. Details and a list of all the fields are [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/447-bdlinx-integration#item-details).

#### Shipping

To have ShipStation tag your orders when Order Desk submits them, set **TagID** or **TagIDs** as checkout data or order metadata, and add the ShipStation tag IDs as the value. More details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/293-shipstation-new#detail).

### New Integrations

**Shopping Cart:** [RevCascade](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/739-revcascade-integration)

**Print on Demand:** [Digital On Demand](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/745-digital-on-demand-integration), [Printforia](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/740-printforia-integration), [Drop Simples](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/746-drop-simples-integration)

### SKU Review

A hot topic that’s been coming up a lot in our support emails lately is how SKUs work with Order Desk, so we want to share a brief overview of what SKUs are and how Order Desk uses them.

A SKU is a stock keeping unit—it’s your own internal identification for a specific product. Order Desk uses the SKU to tell your products apart in cases where you are [syncing extra inventory details](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/316-sync-item-details) into your orders.

The biggest roadblock we see to successfully setting up inventory in Order Desk is when a product has multiple variants that share the same SKU. If your SKU for red shirt is 1234 and your SKU for blue shirt is also 1234, Order Desk won’t know if you’re talking about the red shirt or the blue shirt, and this can cause some unexpected problems.

The Order Desk app can’t distinguish between two items with the same SKU and will assume they are the exact same item. In such cases, you’ll want to add something unique to each SKU to differentiate them from one another, say 1234-R and 1234-B. This way, if Order Desk sees 1234-R, it will know you mean the red shirt and proceed to take action on the order or the item based on that information.

Let us know if you found this helpful or not, or if there are any topics that you would like to see us cover in more detail in future newsletters!

See you next month, *The Order Desk Team*

## March 2021

Happy March 2020! If you got our last newsletter via email, you might have noticed we incorrectly titled it “What’s New at Order Desk? – February 2020”, so now you’re in on the joke! Jokes are always funnier when you explain them, as you know.

Thankfully, now we’ll have more people here to catch our newsletter mistakes. We’ve grown the Order Desk team quite a bit since the real February 2020—we’re up to 11 people total! You might have met some of our newest folks through support emails, but if you’d like to see who you’re working with every day, we’ve updated our [About page](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/qvh8h7h8v5z7wzul/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cub3JkZXJkZXNrLmNvbS9hYm91dC8=) to reflect our current team. Keep an eye on this page over the next few weeks because we are hiring again soon!

### Featured Update:

We are happy to introduce a brand new version of our Two Fifteen integration, which we rebuilt from the ground up this past month. If you’re unfamiliar with Two Fifteen or you’re exploring different print on demand services in the UK to use with Order Desk, [click here](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/9qhzhnhgxm0qwrf9/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS80NTEtdHdvLWZpZnRlZW4taW50ZWdyYXRpb24=) to learn about what this integration includes.

### Updates

The [Rule Builder](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/3ohphkhqrl0omlcr/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS8zOTYtaG93LXRvLXdvcmstd2l0aC1ydWxlcw==) was updated with a filter letting you look at the **Current Date**:

#### Shopping Carts

* If you’re wondering where the 3dcart integration went, it’s still there! They rebranded to [Shift4Shop](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/n2hohvhngpm8q9f6/aHR0cHM6Ly9ibG9nLnNoaWZ0NHNob3AuY29tLzNkY2FydA==), so you’ll see that in the Order Desk app instead.
* The Walmart integration can be configured to check for returned orders three times a day if \*\*Check for Returned Orders **is enabled**. \*\*Return information will be added to the item and order metadata, and you can use the Rule Builder event **Walmart Order Returned** to take action on returned orders. Details in the [Walmart guide](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/48hvheh09ev5l4tx/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS8xODItd2FsbWFydC1pbnRlZ3JhdGlvbiNyZXR1cm5lZA==).

#### Fulfillment

* Tell Order Desk how often to **Check For Shipments** from RakutenSL. Details [here](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/wnh2hghr4pn570i7/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS8yNjktcmFrdXRlbi1zdXBlci1sb2dpc3RpY3MtaW50ZWdyYXRpb24jY2hlY2stZm9yLXNoaXBtZW50cw==).

#### Print on Demand

* You may have noticed the **Options Manager** tool if you have the 4over integration enabled. Use this page to find the UUID information for the items you are sending to 4over for fulfillment. Check out the [4over guide](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/reh8hohq7r42doh2/aHR0cDovL3ByZXZpZXcuY29udmVydGtpdC1tYWlsMy5jb20vY2xpY2svZHBoZWgwaHpobS9hSFIwY0hNNkx5OW9aV3h3TG05eVpHVnlaR1Z6YXk1amIyMHZZWEowYVdOc1pTODFOemd0Tkc5MlpYSXRhVzUwWldkeVlYUnBiMjRqTkc5MlpYSXRiM0IwYVc5dWN5MXRZVzVoWjJWeQ==) for detailed instructions.
* Since products are made on demand, you don’t often see inventory management with print integrations, but we’re trying something different with Monster Digital. If you have Monster Digital enabled in your Order Desk store, you will see a **Manufacturer SKU** in your inventory items. Use this field with the **Sync Inventory** setting in the integration for Order Desk to keep track of the availability of the blank products at Monster Digital. More details on how this works can be found in the [Monster Digital guide](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/08hwh9hmx5voe4il/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS82MzktbW9uc3Rlci1kaWdpdGFsLWludGVncmF0aW9uI2ludmVudG9yeS1tYW5hZ2VtZW50).

| ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata were included for:

* Custom Gateway and WOYC: **skip\_price\_export**—set this to 1 to skip prices being sent with the order if the **Include Item Prices in Submission** setting is enabled. Details can be found in the [Custom Gateway](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/8ghqhohg3vz0d4uk/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS8zOTktY3VzdG9tLWdhdGV3YXkjaW5jbHVkZS1pdGVtLXByaWNlcy1pbi1zdWJtaXNzaW9u) and [WOYC](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/vqh3hrhn47lxr2hg/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS81NzItd2hvcy1vbi15b3VyLWNhc2UtaW50ZWdyYXRpb24jaW5jbHVkZS1pdGVtLXByaWNlcy1pbi1zdWJtaXNzaW9u) guides.
* Top Shelf Printers: **SupplierTracking** can be used to send tracking numbers to Top Shelf Printers. Details [here](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/l2hehmho49e070u6/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS81NjctdG9wLXNoZWxmLXByaW50ZXJzLWludGVncmF0aW9uI2N1c3RvbS1kZXRhaWxz).
* White Label MFG: **CampaignID** was added for your screen printing orders.

Additional **item level options** that can be set as variations or item metadata were included for:

* BDLinx and White Label MFG: set **Finished** in the **type** field to send an item without a print\_url. Details can be found in the [BDLinx](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/m2h7h5ho9pvgzqim/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS80NDctYmRsaW54LWludGVncmF0aW9uI3N1Ym1pdA==) and [White Label MFG](https://click.convertkit-mail3.com/lmu5xorxvdbmh7o0vrb6/e0hph7hkeg6powf8/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS82MDMtd2hpdGUtbGFiZWwtbWZnLWludGVncmF0aW9uI3N1Ym1pdA==) guides.

## February 2021

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, so you may see an uptick in print on demand gifts this month. May your fulfillment channels be as sweet as you are!

### Feature Highlight

We released some major updates to our NetSuite and 3PL Central integrations.

Our NetSuite integration was rebuilt to support **Payment Status** and **Inventory Updates**. You won’t see these updates in the integration itself, so if you’d like to use these features, you will need to work with our NetSuite developer. If you don’t already have his contact info, please respond to this email and we’ll connect you. The existing **Shipment Tracking** feature has been improved as well.

3PL Central has a brand new API, so we rebuilt that integration from the ground up to support it. This brings lots of behind-the-scenes improvements throughout that affect how data is routed and handled. These changes are packaged in a new, separate integration. If you currently use 3PL Central, we will be migrating you to the new integration in time, but we’ll let you know before that happens. If you’d like to make this switch on your own, [click here](https://app.orderdesk.me/integration/threepl?integration_action=enable\&autostart=1) to enable the new version of the integration in your store.

### App Updates

* If you customize the columns in your folders, you’ll appreciate this easter egg of an update! Order metadata and checkout data columns can be renamed to whatever you want to call them so you aren’t stuck with a long, confusing metadata tag for a column name. For instructions on how to do this, see [this guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/489-how-to-customize-folder-columns#special-features).
* You’ll see the Country Name Format in your Store Settings again letting you choose to display the full name of the country in addresses, details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/27-store-settings#store-details). If you need to convert the full country name to the two letter abbreviation, you can do so with the rule action **Convert Country to Abbreviated**.
* Link directly to order notes by clicking the date under the note for easier communication with your team!

### Integration Updates

**Shopping Carts**

* Tell the Etsy integration the [**First Import Date**](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/106-etsy-integration#first-import-date) so orders from before this date will not import into Order Desk.
* Schedule order imports in the Shopify integration with the **Manual Import** feature. Where it used to only search through 25 orders then wait for you to search again, if you click the new **Schedule Import** button, it will go back to the date/time you set and run a search in the background until it reaches the current date. Any orders that match your import settings that haven’t come into Order Desk will import. See how this works in our [Shopify guide](http://preview.convertkit-mail3.com/click/dpheh0hzhm/aHR0cHM6Ly9oZWxwLm9yZGVyZGVzay5jb20vYXJ0aWNsZS83LXNob3BpZnktaW50ZWdyYXRpb24jbWFudWFs).
* BrightStores got the same **Schedule Import** feature that Shopify did. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/368-brightstores#manual).
* The BigCommerce integration is the latest one to get the **Country Filter** setting. See how it works [in the guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/53-bigcommerce#country-filter).
* Use the **Inventory Location Filter** on your Webflow orders to tell Order Desk which specific items you want imported with your orders. Details on how to set this up are in the [Webflow guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/649-webflow-integration#settings).
* The Wish integration has that same [**Inventory Location Filter**](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/673-wish-integration#inventory-location-filter).
* You’ll see a new **Import Parent Products** option in the Magento 2 integration. This lets you tell Order Desk how to handle your bundles. Details [in the guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/186-magento-2#import-parent-products).
* *Hej Sverige!* Sweden is a new location you can choose for Amazon Marketplace.

**Fulfillment**

* You’ll see Sweden as a location in the Amazon FBA integration as well.
* If you set **OrderComment** as checkout data or metadata on an order that is sent to Amazon FBA, the comments from Order Desk will be added to the Packing Slip Comments field in FBA. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/314-fulfillment-by-amazon-fba-limitations-special-features#packing-slip-notes).
* The Ingram Content integration has a new setting for **Default Order Type** which can be used [for all orders](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/669-ingram-content-integration#default-order-type) or specified on an [order-by-order basis](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/669-ingram-content-integration#custom).
* Test your Cubyn connection in the [newly added Sandbox mode](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/676-cubyn-integration#setup) before switching to Production.

**Print on Demand**

* Pic the Gift has a **Shipping Class Match** so you can tell Pic the Gift what shipping method to use for each order. More info [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/402-pic-the-gift#ship).
* Tell Order Desk to tell Gelato to **Automatically Approve Submitted Orders** or to hold them for manual approval. Details on your options can be found in the [Gelato guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/695-gelato#automatically-approve-submitted-orders).
* The Air Waves integration was updated to include webhooks. If you haven’t yet, give your webhook URL to Air Waves so they can send shipment notifications to Order Desk. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/696-air-waves#shipment-webhook-url).
* If your HP Site Flow provider has an **Optional Routing URL** for you to use, this can be set in the integration, otherwise the default URL will be used. Details [here](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/217-hp-site-flow-integration#optional-routing-url).
* Don’t need Bay Photo to crop or adjust your image files? Enable the **Don’t Send Image Crop Data to Bay Photo** setting in the integration. If you still need your artwork adjusted, continue to use the item level details to tell them what adjustments to make. More info can be found [in the guide.](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/285-bay-photo#dont-send-image-crop-data-to-bay-photo)

Additional **order level options** that can be set as checkout data or order metadata were included for:

**Shipping**

* For EasyPost, set **carrier\_id\_limit** as a checkout data or metadata field on orders to limit the returned rates and errors to that particular account. Details can be found in the [EasyPost guide](https://help.orderdesk.com/article/267-create-labels-with-easypost#defaults).
* The Rule Builder got an action for ShipStation that lets you add a tag to an order at ShipStation. These are [tags already in Shipstation](https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026156931-Order-Tags) that you would be selecting from.

You may have noticed that this month’s email was a little longer. I know we’re typically a productive bunch, but what you’re reading includes everything from late November through January. You could always pretend that you didn’t read this last paragraph and tell everyone that we work *really* fast if you want. Your secret is safe with me!

See you next month,

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.orderdesk.com/release-notes/2022-and-older/2021.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
