# PrintDropper Integration

Order Desk can submit your print on demand orders to [**PrintDropper**](https://printdropper.com/). As orders are fulfilled, the shipment info will automatically be pulled back into Order Desk and sent back to the original shopping cart.

### Setup

To connect to PrintDropper, click on **Manage Integrations** in the left sidebar. Under the **Print on Demand** tab, find and click to enable the PrintDropper integration.

Alternatively, search for *PrintDropper* from the available integrations search.

Once enabled, you will need to enter your PrintDropper API keys into Order Desk.

To find these keys in PrintDropper, [**visit this page**](https://printdropper.com/api-example-php-code) and login to your PrintDropper account. You’ll see a page of code. Scroll down about two thirds of the way until you find the **api\_private\_key** and **api\_test\_key lines**:

Copy the keys and paste them into Order Desk then click to connect:

To find your PrintDropper credentials, please contact your rep from PrintDropper. **Order Desk support is not able to help with finding or resetting your PrintDropper credentials**, as they are created and provided by PrintDropper.

### Integration Settings

Once connected, you will have a few settings where you can set your preferences for this integration.

#### Environment

Select the environment the store is in, Test or Live.

#### After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are sent to PrintDropper.

If you want to use a custom folder, create your own from Store Settings. See the [**Working with Folders**](/start-here/getting-started-series/quick-start-overview.md#working-with-folders) guide for more information.

#### After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into when PrintDropper sends shipment details back into Order Desk.

PrintDropper has said that it takes 24-48 hours for tracking to appear in their dashboard.

#### If Canceled, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into if they are canceled at PrintDropper.

#### Default Shipping Class

Choose the mail class you want PrintDropper to use for orders.

If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to their names in the Shipping Class Match section below.

#### Check For Shipments

Choose the time interval Order Desk should check for shipments from PrintDropper.

#### Logo Sticker URL

Add your logo artwork URL to be printed as a sticker and put on shipped packages. This is optional.

#### Shipping Note URL

Add an image URL to apply a shipping note to the shipped package. This is optional.

#### Default Return Address

Set your default return address for PrintDropper to use on your order shipments.

If you need to customize the return address for certain orders, you can save different return addresses to your Store Settings and use a rule to set the return address on specific orders. If a return address is not added to the order, the default address set here in the PrintDropper settings will be used.

For information on adding additional return addresses and applying them to specific orders with a rule, read the [**Store Settings**](/guided-walkthroughs/using-order-desk/manage-store-settings.md#return-addresses) guide.

#### Product Settings

![](https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FEYqHawoaXbQJBX5gA0Qk%2Flegacy-c7f2e429ff0f269b6c01.png?alt=media)

For more information on what the product settings within the PrintDropper integration do, please read the [**Print on Demand Product Settings**](/guided-walkthroughs/print-on-demand-walkthrough/print-on-demand-integration-product-settings.md) guide.

#### Shipping Class Match

![](https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FRAhZmZuJEC9Bxo1JSY2K%2Flegacy-4714db3367dbf50f33e3.png?alt=media)

If the shipping methods you set up in your shopping cart(s) don’t match the shipping method names PrintDropper uses, they won’t know what methods you intend for them to use. When this happens, the default mail class applied above will be used instead for all of your orders.

To tell PrintDropper what methods you want them to use, you will need to match your method names to theirs. This can be done in the shipping class match section. For detailed instructions on setting this up, please read through the [**shipping class match**](/guided-walkthroughs/shipping-fulfillment-and-returns/how-to-set-up-shipping-class-matches.md) guide.

### Sending Orders to PrintDropper

Getting your orders ready to send to PrintDropper will take some set up time. For a detailed walkthrough of how to use Order Desk with your Print on Demand orders, please read through our [**Print on Demand Fulfillment**](/guided-walkthroughs/print-on-demand-walkthrough/print-on-demand-fulfillment.md) guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.orderdesk.com/integration-setup-guides/print-on-demand/printdropper-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
