# Cimpress Open Integration

Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), sync in your print details, and then automatically send them to [Cimpress Open](https://cimpress.com/) for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk automatically.

This guide will go over the Cimpress Open integration settings and features. For a more thorough walkthrough of how to work with your print-on-demand orders in Order Desk, please read through the [Print on Demand Fulfillment](/guided-walkthroughs/print-on-demand-walkthrough/print-on-demand-fulfillment.md) guide.

#### Looking for the standard Cimpress integration?&#x20;

If your Cimpress representative instructed you to use the original Cimpress connection, follow the [Cimpress Integration Guide](/integration-setup-guides/print-on-demand/cimpress-integration.md) instead.

To find your Cimpress Open credentials, please contact your Cimpress representative. Order Desk support cannot help find or reset your credentials because they are created and provided by Cimpress.
{% endhint %}

### Integration Settings

Once you have successfully connected to the Cimpress Open integration, you can set your preferences.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2Fdcc44nJckzazQWVv3tRj%2FCleanShot%202026-10-07%20at%2021.43.10%402x.png?alt=media&amp;token=07628830-50e9-4ff2-9bca-91ecceb598b4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Default Shipping Method

Select the default shipping method you want Cimpress to use. The shipping method you select will be used for all orders where the method on the order does not match any of Cimpress' known shipping method names.

If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to Cimpress Open's names in the [Shipping Class Match](#shipping-class-match) section below.

#### After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders moved into after they are successfully sent to Cimpress.

You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.

#### After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders moved into when Cimpress sends tracking details back.

#### Status Notification URL

This Notification URL must be set up in your Cimpress Open account for Order Desk to automatically retrieve order updates and tracking details for orders. Please give it to your Cimpress sales representative to have it added to your account.

#### Setup Redirects

<figure><img src="https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2F858FwSvihvFoKAm1i3mE%2FCleanShot%202026-10-07%20at%2021.57.41%402x.png?alt=media&amp;token=701cb608-ab57-405c-8c85-939ba447bfa2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you connect the same Cimpress Open account to more than one Order Desk store, you will need to setup some redirects so when the shipment info comes back from Cimpress, it will find its way to the right Order Desk store.

In your primary store, where the first connection to Cimpress Open was made, you will see Setup Redirects. Click this link to open your **Webhook Redirection List**. Then, in your other Order Desk stores that are also connected to the same Cimpress account, find the Notification URL.

Copy this URL and paste it into the Setup Redirects field in your main store. Add one URL per line, making sure all notification URLs from your other Order Desk stores are included.

### Product Settings

For more information about what the product settings within the Cimpress Open integration do, please read the [Print on Demand Product Settings](/guided-walkthroughs/print-on-demand-walkthrough/print-on-demand-integration-product-settings.md) guide.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FbhlR8xnNsuEicLJmzheR%2FCleanShot%202026-09-23%20at%2022.28.18%402x.png?alt=media&amp;token=838dd87d-395b-45cd-97cc-e9df9623ccc5" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### **Shipping Class Match**

To match your shopping cart shipping method names to Cimpress Open's shipping method names, you will need to use shipping class matches. This will allow you to tell Cimpress what the shipping method name you have on your orders, set in your shopping cart, should be sent as.

If your shipping method name does not match their shipping method name exactly, your [default shipping method](#default-shipping-method) will be used instead.

<div data-with-frame="true"><figure><img src="https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FnkdoHeGxwQmBT6dUICi7%2FCleanShot%202026-09-23%20at%2022.47.45%402x.png?alt=media&amp;token=a440ceb2-647e-4399-bf95-6a3f0183c1e6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

For information on how to set up your shipping preferences, please read the [Shipping Class Match](https://help.orderdesk.com/guided-walkthroughs/shipping-fulfillment-and-returns/how-to-set-up-shipping-class-matches) guide.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.orderdesk.com/integration-setup-guides/print-on-demand/cimpress-open-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
