# Mintsoft Integration

Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), apply custom information and then submit them to [Mintsoft](https://www.mintsoft.co.uk/) for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to Order Desk and back to your shopping cart(s) if your store is set up for it.

### Setup

To connect to Mintsoft, click on the **Manage Integrations** link in the left sidebar and under the **Fulfillment** tab find and enable the Mintsoft integration.

Alternatively, search for MintSoft from the available integration search.

Enter your Mintsoft username and password and click to connect. If you have access to your API Key, no other fields are needed.

### Integration Settings

After you have connected the integration, you can apply any necessary details or preferences to the settings.

#### Default Mail Class

Choose the mail class you want Mintsoft to use for your orders.

If Auto is selected, orders will be submitted without a mail class.

If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to the names Mintsoft uses in the [Shipping Class Match section](#shipping-class-match) below.

#### After Import, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Mintsoft.

You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the [Working with Folders](/start-here/getting-started-series/quick-start-overview.md#working-with-folders) guide for more information.

#### After Shipment, Move To

Select the folder you want orders to be moved into as Mintsoft sends shipment details back to Order Desk.

#### Default Warehouse

Select the warehouse where you want your orders to be sent.

#### Inventory Syncing

#### Sync Inventory

Enable if you want your inventory stock counts to be pulled in from Mintsoft.

For more information, see the [How to Work with Inventory Counts](/guided-walkthroughs/products-and-inventory/how-to-work-with-inventory-quantities.md#send-counts-tofrom-order-desk) guide.

#### Sync Update Interval

If Sync Inventory is enabled, choose how often you want Order Desk to check Mintsoft for inventory updates.

#### Inventory Warehouse

Select which warehouse to download inventory counts from.

#### Inventory Source

Select the stock level you want Order Desk to use for syncing inventory.

#### Inventory Location Name

If you want to set a specific inventory location name for the products you have at Mintsoft, set that name here. As Mintsoft sends back reports, your custom name will be added as the location.

#### Skip Unlisted Items

Enable this if you only want to update stock for items that already exist in your Order Desk inventory. Stock updates for items not in your inventory will be ignored.

#### Product Settings

![](https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FLWVDHYKhmrDDtGW7KhI1%2Flegacy-78ce1c89c0e2bf87857d.png?alt=media)

For more information on what these product settings in the Mintsoft integration are for and how to use them, read the [Fulfillment Integration Product Settings](/integration-setup-guides/fulfillment-services/fulfillment-integration-product-settings.md) guide.

#### Shipping Class Match

![](https://251457507-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FAQOLMUJWMYtrpQ7Oxxca%2Fuploads%2FGx74IaMSj4fN8tak2Ycs%2Flegacy-be1cdd87eb7df1e986b9.png?alt=media)

If the shipping methods you set up in your shopping cart(s) don’t match the shipping method names Mintsoft uses, they won’t know what methods you intend for them to use. When this happens, the [default mail classes applied above](#integration-settings) will be used instead for all of your orders.

To tell Mintsoft what methods you want them to use, you will need to match your method names to theirs. This can be done in the shipping class match section. For detailed instructions on setting this up, please read through the [shipping class match](/guided-walkthroughs/shipping-fulfillment-and-returns/how-to-set-up-shipping-class-matches.md) guide.

#### Customize Order Details

You can add custom details to your orders to be passed through to Mintsoft. Add these details as checkout data or metadata fields. The field names must be an exact match to this table.

| Field Name | Field Description |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Currency | Add the currency code for your order here. Default is GBP. |
| ClientID | Add the Client ID provided by your Mintsoft supplier here. |
| WarehouseID | Set a different Warehouse ID here if you need to override the default one from the integration settings. |
| ioss | Set an IOSS number on an order by order basis here. If absent, the [default IOSS number](/guided-walkthroughs/using-order-desk/manage-store-settings.md#ioss-number) on the store settings page will be used. |
| Channel | Enter a custom channel ID or source name to pass to Mintsoft. If left blank, the order source will appear as “API” in Mintsoft. |
| VATNumber | Use this field to set the VAT number you want to send to Mintsoft, if one is required for your orders. |
| EORINumber | Use this field to set the EORI number you want to send to Mintsoft, if one is required. |

For instructions on how to apply these fields to checkout data, please read the [How to Work with Checkout Data guide](/guided-walkthroughs/orders-and-folders/how-to-work-with-checkout-data.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.orderdesk.com/integration-setup-guides/fulfillment-services/mintsoft-integration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
